Shaped brackets and beveled edges to the watch glass and base ensure a tightly clamped seal for the watch casing. The watch casing assembly includes two arched components which serve as the watch bracelet mountings. These also serve to hold the watch assembly together. The assembly comprises a watch cover glass, the casing containing the movement, and a base. These three elements are gripped between two arched components, with screws passing through these two components into the casing containing the movement. The cover glass and the base each have a beveled edge so that when they are gripped laterally by the arches, they are also pressed firmly against the movement, ensuring a good seal.
