This method is of the type consisting in creating a 3D block using recorded seismic traces which relate to a given medium, m selecting at least one parameter which is useful for the interpretation and in determining one value of the said parameter for each of the seismic traces, and it is characterized in that each value of the parameter is integrated at a free location on the corresponding seismic trace, the said free location having the same position on all the traces.
