An improvement is described in all purpose liquid cleaning compositions and microemulsion compositions which are especially effective in the removal of oily and greasy soil and contain an anionic surfactant, an ethoxylated glycerol type compound, triethanol amine surfactant, a cosurfactant, a hydrocarbon ingredient, and water.
