PURPOSE: To provide a sustained release tablet of sodium valproate having a relatively small size and a stable eluting property and capable of maintaining a stable concentration in blood over a long period. ;CONSTITUTION: The sustained release tablet of the sodium valproate is characterized by having a coating layer on the surface of a nuclear tablet containing the sodium valproate, the coating layer being obtained by coating the nuclear tablet with a coating agent comprising ethyl cellulose containing silica dispersed therein.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
