PURPOSE: To optimize the paging and processing of call relay, to maximize the operability of an operator and to minimize the waiting time of an incoming call and an outgoing call. ;CONSTITUTION: Various data relating to the incoming call, the outgoing call and the operability of the operator of the respective calls are generated in a host computer 10 and divided for the incoming call and for the outgoing call. Respective telephone relay lines are respectively specified for the incoming call and the outgoing call and respective states are monitored. When all the relay lines allocated for the incoming call are used, a part of the relay lines specified for the outgoing call is re-specified for the incoming call. When more than prescribed number of the relay lines specified for the incoming call are not used, a part of them is re-specified for the outgoing call. The ratio of responding to the incoming call, the ratio of processing the outgoing call and the allocation of the relay lines to the incoming call and the outgoing call are respectively controlled by the frequency of respective call processings, the time and number of processing delay and a processing procedure selected by a user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
