(57) Abstract The method of calculating the geometric data, like position, size and angular position of the attention-related picture section in the field picture automatically is presented. The aforementioned field picture is installed in the scanner tablet or on the scanner drum. The lightness image or the lightness picture is acquired from the scan data in the field picture which is scanned because of this is analyzed. By digital edge filtering, mainly, horizontality and the vertical edge are emphasized. The straight line which conforms from the lightness image or the lightness picture which filtering is done, vis-a-vis the picture section which you observe are related is required, this the picture section which you observe are related in the field picture from the straight line which conforms is required.
