Backlash adjustment shim selection method of gear

摘要

PURPOSE: To select a shim by which backlash of a gear with small unevenness of backlash can be small suppressed. ;CONSTITUTION: Backlash of two gears, respectively mounted to a crankshaft and a balance shaft of an engine and meshed with each other, is measured in positions A, B, C, D in a condition built by using a master shim, and a regular shim is selected so that a minimum backlash value obtained in the position D obtains a fixed value 20μ set by a measuring error ±25μ. By moving the balance shaft based on centrifugal force of a weight, the backlash in the position D is actually obtained in positive. The backlash is changed in a range determined by the fixed value and a manufacturing error of gear itself and also by low suppressing a minimum value, a backlash total unit is small suppressed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
