PURPOSE: To compound a large amt. of limonite based ore contg. water of crystallization at a high ratio as a raw material to be sintered with sintered ore without degrading the productivity, yield and quality of the sintered ore. ;CONSTITUTION: Mill scale is compounded at ≥1wt.% to 10wt.% of the compounding ratio of the limonite based ore at the time of compounding the limonite based ore at a ratio of ≥30wt.% with the sintered ore and the ore is sintered together with the other raw materials to be sintered, by which the formation of the hardly air permeable layers to be formed at the time of roasting is prevented.
