PURPOSE:To form the same image as obtained when a person directry watches an object, on the title mirror, by a method wherein two-part mirror, which are the same in size, are prepared, and each end of the mirrors, which corresponds to a side of the mirror and is the same in length, is connected with each other, and each surface of the mirrors is placed so as to make a right angle and to face with each other. CONSTITUTION:The position of an intersection 3 is shown as a point 'O'; two-part mirror planes 1, as OA, OB; and the bisection plane of the two-part mirror planes, as a central plane 2. The direction of the central plane is made an image-watching direction. When an arrow mark XY, an object, is placed between the two-part mirror planes, the optical images of this arrow mark are formed by the two-part mirror planes. An arrow mark X'a Y'a is an image of the XY by the mirror plane OA and an arrow mark X'b Y'b, of the XY by the mirror plane OB. A plane OA' is an image of the OA by the OB, and a plane OB', of the OB by the OA. When the OA and the OB cross at a right angle, the image of the OA coincides with the image of the OB. Since a visual field between the OA and the OB connects with each other at the intersection 'O', a X''Y'', an image of the XY, on which when the whole of the object is watched from the direction of the visual field, the right-and-left of the object is reversed as compared to the image caused by a normal mirror, can be watched. As for the course of the light incident from the image-watching direction, i.e., a light course 4, after the light is reflected by the two-part mirror planes, its direction becomes parallel to the direction of incidence.
