PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a thermal-spraying formed large diameter billet, ring or pipe-like body by executing the thermal-spraying of fine granular molten metal on a rotating surface. ;SOLUTION: A preform 10 has a collector surface 12 shifted in the direction of a sign 16 while rotating in the direction shown with a sign 14. This collector surface 12 is kept to a prescribed temp. with an auxiliary heat source 22 or reheated to the prescribed temp. The heat from the auxiliary heat source 22 irradiates the collector surface 12 to form the reheating or a preheating zone 24. As the auxiliary heat source 22, laser, high temp. flame, plasma-arc, electric induction or radiation heat source is used. The molten metal 18 is thermally- sprayed on the collector surface 12 in reheating or preheating zone 24. A device for executing this producing method is disclosed, too.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
