PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling mill which is excellent in the control capability of the sheet crown of rolled stocks, with which thrust force which acts on work rolls is reduced with simple composition and whose work rolls are crossed. SOLUTION: By composing the back-up rolls 8 of the rolling mill so that their roll axes are not inclined on a horizontal plane, composing each work roll 7 so that the axes of these work rolls 7 are inclinable to the axes of the back-up rolls 8 on the horizontal plane and providing a lubricant feed system 1 for supplying a lubricant between the work rolls 7 and the back-up rolls 8, this rolling mill is attained. Then, it is enabled to realize the rolling mill having the composition in which only the work rolls 7 are crossed. By the action of the lubricant supplied between the rolls, thrust force which acts on the work rolls 7 is drastically reduced, so the control capability of the sheet crown of the rolled stock is sufficiently displayed.
