Optical wavelength conversion device and a method of manufacturing a short-wavelength coherent light generator and the optical wavelength conversion element using the manufacturing method and an optical wavelength conversion device
PURPOSE: To provide a light wavelength conversion element with high efficiency. ;CONSTITUTION: This method is to form a periodical polarization inversion layer on the LiTa(1-x)NbxO3 (0≤x≤1) substrate of an X-plate. An internal electric field 13 on which the polarization inversion layer is formed can be generated by forming a proton exchange layer 10 in stripe shape, and forming a stripe direction by inclining more than the C-axis of the substrate, and letting a polarization needed to form the polarization inversion layer be inverted is generated and realize formation of the polarization inversion layer. The periodical polarization inversion layer required for the light wavelength conversion element can be formed by forming a stripe shape polarization inversion layer periodically.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO&Japio
