PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the service life of a bearing by a large magin by interposing sufficient oil content at the bearing surface of the bearing. ;SOLUTION: A bearing 10 has a cylindrical sintered alloy 12, and a grease layer 14 formed on the bearing surface. The sintered alloy 12 is impregnated with lubricating oil such as ether group synthetic oil, ester group synthetic oil or mineral oil. Grease in the grease layer 14 is formed of mineral oil as a base using an urea, penton, lithium or calcium group thickening agent. The lubricating oil impregnated in the sintered metal 12 has such viscosity that oil content can be make-up fed to the grease layer 14. When the grease oil content flows out along a shaft, the lubricaing oil impregnated in the porous structure of the sintered metal 12 moves toward the grease layer 14.
