PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball striking hammer having a hammer tip spring that does not loosen, a method for manufacturing the same, and a jig whereby differently shaped ball striking hammers can easily be manufactured. ;SOLUTION: A metallic plate punched together with a noncircular hole 2 is fixed on the main spindle of a lathe by a jig, and its end is cut into a taper shape. An annular binding part is cut in the base of this taper part 3, and the winding end 6 of a hammer tip spring 5 is inserted into the binding part and fixed. A jig is obtained by providing a jig main body with a pin over which the noncircular hole 2 in the metallic plate is fitted and a slidable pillow enabling the adjustment of the angle of the metallic plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
