PURPOSE: To attain destination selection even when a key-in number is not written by a specific rule by displaying a key-in number to be selected in response to the operation of a selection key and displaying a destination page designated by the key-in number through the depression of an enter key. ;CONSTITUTION: In the case of displaying pages including a key-in number, a numeral code is recognized as a key-in number and position information corresponding to the key-in number is extracted to reset a flag F to 0, selection control information with respect to a page is analyzed and a minimum key-in number is used for a selected number. When display position information with respect to all key-in numbers is extracted, a flag F is set to '1' and stored and a minimum key-in number is displayed with inversion. Then the selection number is updated by the operation of an UP or a DOWN key for cursor and the updated number is displayed with inversion. When an enter key is operated, the destination page designated by the key-in number displayed with inversion at present is displayed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
