PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a blended woven fabric, giving the woven fabric which has a raised nap-like surface and further has excellent tension and excellent stiffness without passing through a complicated process such as a raising process. ;SOLUTION: This method for producing the highly shrunk polyester-blended woven fabric comprises weaving spun yarns to produce the woven fabric, and then subjecting the woven fabric to finishing processes including a hot water- treating process for treating the woven fabric with hot water at a temperature above the boiling point of water. The spun fibers are obtained by blending highly shrinkable polyester fibers which comprise a copolyester produced by copolymerizing polyethylene terephthalate with the third component such as isophthalic acid and have a boiling water shrinkage rate of ≥20% and the maximum thermal shrinkage stress value of ≥0.4 g/denier.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
