PURPOSE: To securely detect an abnormal terminal and securely connect the terminal by pivotally supporting a contact lever by a terminal receiving portion, and projecting it outward of an insertion shaft by spring energization. ;CONSTITUTION: A contact lever 6 is provided with a claw 10 for preventing fall-off of a terminal and a cutout inclining piece 11, and is pivotally connected to a terminal receiving portion 5 by a spring pin 12. A coil spring 7 is inserted into the bottom of a lateral hole 14 of the receiving portion 5 in an oscillatable state in the insertion shaft diameter direction through a vertical groove 13 formed inside of an insertion shaft 4, to press the upper portion of the base end of the lever 6 outward. The lever 6 is screwed into the lateral hole 14 on the inlet side, thus slightly projecting an inclined side 11 approximately in parallel along the insertion shaft 4 by using a small screw 15 as a stopper. When a connection hole 3 of an LA terminal 2 is fitted to the insertion hole 4, the inclined side 11 is brought into close contact with the connecting hole 3 by energization of the coil spring 7, to be conducted from the receiving portion 5 to a lead wire 16. The claw 10 is intruded inward against the spring 7 and restored after terminal insertion so as to prevent fall-off of the terminal 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
