PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause a rod to be forced into the ground to advance along the laying path of a pipe in a starting shaft in a non-open-cut pipe laying method. ;SOLUTION: In the non-open-cut pipe laying method, wherein after a rod 11 is forced into the ground so as to protrude from the wall surface of a starting shaft 10 formed on the forward end of the laying path of a pipe, a borehole is formed to bring the pipe into the ground again from a wall surface on the side of laying the pipe, a rod press base 22 is attached to a wall surface of the shaft 10, on which the pipe is laid, so as to be slidable with respect to the upper part of the rod 11 to be inserted to guide the rod 11 in the direction of the laying path of the pipe.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
