Kana-Kanji conversion candidate display method for Japanese input

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Japanese inputting processing system improving conversion efficiency by allowing a user to select a Japanese word he desires to input from among a smaller number of selecting candidates at the time of KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character) convertion. SOLUTION: At the time of registering a word with its reading in a dictionary, a mode displaying homonyms registered in the dictionary as converting candidates at the time of depressing only a prescribed key at the time of KANA /KANJI conversion and a mode displaying the words at the time of depressing previously fixed prescribed extension key by combining with the prescribed conversion key in addition at the time of KANA/KANJI conversion are selectively set for each word.
