PURPOSE: To provide the digital sound field creating device by selecting a reproduced sound field without giving a damage to an environment of a reproduced voice signal even when the reproduced sound field is executed. ;CONSTITUTION: In the digital sound field creating device provided with a multiplier 15e applying effective sound processing to an audio signal as a direct audio signal based on an effect sound processing program and effect sound data selected by a sound field selection key 18 to generate the effect sound signal and an adder 15f synthesizing the effect sound signal and the direct sound signal to create the sound field, when the sound field selection key 18 selecting the effect sound processing program or the effect sound data is entered, the level of the effect sound signal synthesized at present is faded out up to a predetermined level and the level of the selected effect sound signal after lapse of a predetermined time is faded in from the prescribed value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
