PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and exactly remove a foreign matter as a cause of blemish part of a plate cylinder in a printing unit by a method wherein a manually operated unit change-over valve is employed in order to remove foreign matters on the plate cylinder in the printing unit, and arranging it on a color checking stand adjacently to an operating panel. ;SOLUTION: Under the condition where an actual printed matter 34 is placed on the top surface of the color checking stand 33 of an operating part main body 37, one color is specified visually from among the colors of a pattern developed in a blemish part Y, the position of which on a plate cylinder is confirmed by a worker by corresponding to the button 27 of an operating panel 26. After the color of the pattern of the blemish part Y developed in the printed matter 34, by manually operating a unit change-over valve 29, compressed air is fed to a hicky removing unit corresponding to a printing unit, with the color of which the blemish part Y is developed. Next, by visually operating the button 27 of the operating panel 27 corresponding to the position of the blemish part Y so as to drive a corresponding solenoid valve, compressed air is fed to an air cylinder corresponding to the position of the blemish part Y through the above-mentioned driving so as to remove a foreign matter through the advancement of a paddle.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
