Book entry system

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book input system capable of integrating a series of input operation to a book data base, simplifying the setting of a parameter for a means necessary for the input of books and enabling anyone to easily operate it and suitable for the input of a large collection of books. ;SOLUTION: Inputted books are sorted and hierarchically structured by a book sort specifying means 21 based on structural features and the setting of a parameter is shared by the same sort of documents and books. Since a parameter is stored in each sort, the setting of respective processing means 22 to 27 is executed by a parameter setting batch processing means 12 only by specifying a sort by a user, so that the parameter can simply be set up. When a user interface for graphically displaying the hierarchical structure of book sorts and a list of operation states is used, the efficiency of operation can be more improved and the system can correspond to the input of a large collection of books.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
