PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an expected-value collation system by which an expected value can be collated even when the control signal of a bidirectional terminal cannot be detected. ;SOLUTION: In this expected-value collation system, an output value reaches an expected-value collation module 3 via a signal line (d) when the bidirectional terminal (c) of a target circuit 1 is changed over to an 'output' A waveform which is generated from an input pattern generator 4 refers to the expected value of the target circuit 1. When the waveform reaches the expected-value collation module 3 via a signal line (b), the expected value can be collated. When the expected value is equal to the output result of the bidirectional terminal (c), a waveform which passes the signal line (d) is equal to the waveform reaching the expected-value collation module 3 via the signal line (b). When the expected value is different from the output waveform, an indefinite value is superposed on the signal line (d) so as to be different from the expected value. As a result, its information is output, and it is found out that a problem exists in the target circuit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
