PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate/recover fine particles having a wide particle size distritution continuously, promptly, and simply in one process by installing a rotor having a self-rotation blade vertically in a standing cylinder type dispersion tank and charging the peripheral surface of the rotor oppositely to the charge of fine particles in dispersion. ;SOLUTION: In order to use a rotor 4, the charge of fine particles in a dispersion 1 is investigated, and the rotor 4 which generates -potential of a charge opposite to it is selected. In order to separate the particles 2 in the dispersion 1, the dispersion 1 is passed downward in a standing cylinder type separation tank 3, and the rotor 4 installed in the tank 3 is rotated by a self-rotation blade 8 fitted to the lower part of the tank 3. In this way, the particles 2 adsorbed on the surface of the rotor 4 are separated from the surface to be recovered. The separation/recovery of the particles 2 having a wide particle size distribution can be done continuously, promptly, and simply in one process, and response to mass treatment is possible.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
