(57) [Abstract] The present invention relates to a novel method for separating materials, characterization, and new equipment for the operation. In particular, in order to identify and separate such materials, the present invention combines the conductive properties of the dielectric and frequency dependence of the dissolved material and the particulate material, the use of the characteristics of suspended transport medium. For introducing the cells, is taken out, the apparatus includes a chamber and an inlet and outlet ports and at least one electrode element of at least one. Then, material carried through the chamber by the flow of fluid is separated by a fluid (DEP) force dielectric electrophoresis caused by electrodes energized. The method of the present invention, comprises the use of research, diagnosis of a condition, the apparatus for separating and identifying the substance for therapeutic purposes. Examples of such methods include the separation of red blood cells isolated from normal cells of cancer cells, parasitized erythrocytes from normal, such as the separation of nucleic acids, the separation of the cell mixture.
