Random variable generator and traffic information generator

摘要

PURPOSE: To generate the probability variable and traffic information of a distribution shown by a desired function at high speed with a simple electronic circuit. ;CONSTITUTION: A memory 3 storing a look up table from which the probability variable of the distribution shown by the function can be extracted from the cumulative frequency function value of the distribution shown by the desired function, a constant generation means 5 generating uniform random numbers, an arithmetic means 4 conducting arithmetical operation based on the value extracted from the storage means and a switch where opening/closing is controlled by the arithmetic result of the arithmetic means are provided. A probability variable generation device 10 and a traffic information generation device using the device are constituted by the interval of the distribution shown by the desired function.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
