PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device enabling continuous action of a player character to variously and smoothly transferred by setting plural choices to transfer from one action to the next action, and accepting action instruction input in accordance with a transition condition of player character action during one action, a character action control method therein, and a recording medium in which a game control program is stored. SOLUTION: In a character action process, a CPU obtains an action name and a frame number (action ID) stored in an action transfer data table storage range in a main memory for an action condition of a player character when it accepts action instruction input (step S301: Yes), it refers to an action transfer data table in it (step S303), and when it is possible to transfer to an action ID corresponding to an action instruction input timing (S304: Yes), it transfers a reference to an action transfer data table corresponding to an action to be transferred in the main memory (step S305).
