PURPOSE:To easily obtain a lot of traffic information even when a driver concentrates on the driving by editing the traffic information by a road name, editing a numerical data concerning the traffic information, and outputting it by a voice. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with a position measuring device 11, CD-ROM 12, display device 13, teleterminal receiver 14, antenna 15, processor 16, and voice synthesizing means(device) 17. Then, a link number data in which a road name which is commonly called is defined as a key word, is edited by the processor 16 in order to edit the traffic information. Then, the numerical data concerning the traffic information is put into sentences, and guided to the driver by the voice by the voice synthesizing means 17. Thus, the lot of traffic information can be obtained even when the driver concentrates on the driving, and the calm driving can be ensured.
