PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for raising a rush seedling, which enables the upward growth of the rush seedling without causing the invasion of the foliage of the rush seedling between a pot-like seedling-raising chamber and a specific foliage guide implement, by connecting the foliage guide implement to the upper edge of the pot-like seedling-raising chamber. ;SOLUTION: This method for raising a rush seedling comprises connecting a foliage guide implement 2 for upward guiding the foliage of the growing seedling to the upper edge of a seedling-raising chamber 1 formed in a pot-like shape and then raising the seedling, while guiding the foliage of the seedling with the foliage guide implement 2 in at least the early period for raising the seedling. Therein, the lower end portion 2a of the foliage guide implement 2 is preferably fit into the upper side portion of the seedling-raising chamber 1, and the foliage guide implement 2 is preferably formed with a light- transmitting material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
