PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the installation dimensions. in a building and to reduce the energy consumption of a water pump. SOLUTION: In a waste water reutilizing method in a building, a waste water treatment apparatus 5 constituted of a vertically long aeration tank 6 and a filter tank 12 is arranged in a building 1 and raw water being lavatory waste water is supplied to the upper part 7 of the vertically long aeration tank 6 to be subjected to aeration treatment and the mixed liquid of activated sludge and raw water led out of the lower part 10 of the aeration tank 6 is separated into a conc. liquid and a filtrate in a filter tank 12 to be filtered and the filtrate is reutilized as reclaimed water. In the case of a high building, the stories of the building are divided into a plurality of sections and the above mentioned waste water treatment apparatus is arranged at every section or a steel pipe 2 is arranged to the core portion in the building to be connected to the vertically long aeration tank of the waste water treatment apparatus.
