PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent ground materials getting entangled with a grinding machine, and increase the strength of a molded product by grinding a building material comprising woody part and fiber part in a manner that the degree of grinding changes in a stepped fashion. SOLUTION: A building material 10 comprises a woody part 20 comprising woody part and a fiber part 30 comprising fibers and functioning as an insulating material, and after the material is collected, a first grinding process is performed wherein a building material 10 is ground into large lumps in which woody part 10 and fiber part 20 are mixed together. A second grinding process is performed wherein a first ground material processed through the first grinding process is then further ground into minute powder, and a third grinding process is performed wherein a second ground material processed through the second grinding process is then ground into fine powder. These stepped grinding processes prevent not only the fiber part 30 comprising fibers from becoming long string-like material but also ground materials from getting entangled with a grinding device. Moreover, the fiber part 30 strengthens the bonding of respective ground materials to increase the strength.
