PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grass planting tool capable of readily carrying out grass planting and handling of gravel, a method for grass planting using the grass planting tool and a laying tool and a holding tool used for the method for grass planting. ;SOLUTION: This laying tool 2 has a net part 2a having a mesh capable of making roots 4a of water grass 4 subjected to grass planting invade and laid through laid gravel 5 in which the roots 4a of the water grass 4 can be established at the bottom of a water tank. The holding tool 3 is provided with a holding part 7 for holding the roots of the water grass 4 and leg parts 8 engageable with the net part 2a. The grass planting tool 4 having the laying tool 2 and the holding tool 3 is used to plant the grass 4 by engaging the leg parts 8 with the net part 2a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
