PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a long drawing and to eliminate a discontinuous line to be continued by driving it at a good speed irrespective of formation with a relatively low cost. ;SOLUTION: The plotter for forming a drawing on a movable sheet material via a support table 18 comprises a supply roll 30 of a sheet material disposed in a lower height than a height of the table and a take-up roll 32 of a sheet material, a guide means 24 extending across an advancing direction of the material, a main carriage 26 supported to the means 24, and an implement carriage 28 movable on the main carriage. A length of the material of the carriage 26 in its advancing direction is shorter than a length of the material of the means 24 in the advancing direction, and a first side edge 4 and a second side edge 40 are separated at a distance shorter than the length of the material of the table 18 in a direction across the advancing direction of the material.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
