PURPOSE: To increase heat resistance and durability of a nozzle itself by locally subjecting only a heat receiving portion of a nozzle tip to surface treatment in a method with a comparatively less thermal effect such as plating, thermal spraying, Al-Si or ceramics coating or the like. ;CONSTITUTION: After a masking 10 is applied on portions of a nozzle body 1 of SUS 304 or the like except for portions which are to be subjected to plating treatment, the nozzle body 1 is immersed in a plating liquid 20 to be subjected to amorphous chromium plating in a predetermined condition. Alternatively, after the masking 10 is effected by means of a pressure sensitive adhesive tape or the like on portions of the nozzle body 1 except for portions which are to be subjected to coating treatment, a surface being processed is coated with a slurry 50, which has Al, Si compound dispersed in an organic solvent, to undergo a primary drying. Subsequently, after the masking tape is removed and a secondary drying is effected, heat treatment 60 is effected in a H2-N2 gas atmosphere. After the heat treatment, a nozzle performs blasting 70 with glass beads to remove slurry residue, thus forming an Al-Si diffusion layer 80 to make a product.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
