PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a filter cloth from being broken in about the middle and to surely remove the stuck dust, etc. ;SOLUTION: This method for regenerating a filter cloth consists in vertically extending and contracting a bag filter 13 directed downward to release the dust, etc., stuck to the inside. In this case, the bag filter 13 is contracted downward while sending air into it. The filter cloth for a dry filter-type dust collector is formed into a bag and contains the bag filter 13 for collecting dust, etc., and a woven fabric 15 formed by weaving the year 15A into a scrim and set outside the bag filter 13. The yarn 15A of the woven fabric 15 can be inclined at an angle of 45° to the expanding direction of the filter medium. A filter cloth 21 can be arranged in the horizontal direction. The filter cloth 21 consists of a horizontally arranged bag filter 23 and a woven fabric 25A covering the bag filter 23.
