PURPOSE: To effectively protect persons within collapsed building from being pressed under debris of the building by supporting the collapsed building from inside by an air bag expanded at need. ;CONSTITUTION: In a form of expanding an air bag in advance, expanded air bags 1 are installed, being hung down or in such like manner, one piece each at the right and left by the wall of a ceiling. This air bag 1 is of cylinder type or rectangular type, and for example, if it is intended for, for example, a six-mat room, it is made in size of about 2m in length, 3m³ in capacity. And, for expansion of this air bag, the blower function of an electric cleaner, or the like is used. If an air bag is installed this way, when the building begins to collapse by earthquake or the like, the air bag 1 on either side functions obliquely, according to the direction of collapse, whereby it delays progress of collapse and after collapse of building, it allows residents to secure enough space safely.
