CLOSING COVER STRUCTURE OF CONCRETE SIDE DITCH AND CONCRETE SIDE DITCH BLOCK THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the condition of a closing cover in a concrete side ditch and retain the stable condition. SOLUTION: The upper end opening 5 of a side ditch block 2 is covered with a cover slab 7. The cover receive part 17 of the side ditch block 2 is provided with a slope face 21 inclined to the inside and connected to a drain ditch bottom face 23 at the upper edge thereof. The lower part of the side of cover slab 7 is provided with a slope face 33 which can be brought into plane contact with the slope face 21. The position between the drain ditch bottom face 23 and the cover slab part positioned on the upper side is formed as a vertical drain passage 40 communicating with a lateral drain passage 27 formed in the cover receive part 17. Rainwater flowing down in the vertical drain passage 40 is discharged into the side ditch through the lateral drain passage 27.
