PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sentence retrieving device capable of improving the efficiency of retrieval. ;SOLUTION: Plural data including sentences constituting a hypertext linking plural sentences through a communication part 13 are collected under the control of a CPU 11. Plural linked sentences judged from the linked relation of the hypertext in the collected data are integrated into a sentence and the integrated sentence is stored in an integrated sentence storing area 21. When one or more retrieving character strings are specified and inputted from an input part 12, a retrieval part 15 retrieves the retrieving character strings from the integrated sentence stored in the storing area 21 and displays the retrieved result on a display part 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
