PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To instantaneously grasp the address of an information file fitted to a purpose by installing a means which is formed of an information retrieval system operating on a client side and an information retrieval system operating on a server side and in which they are cooperatively operated. SOLUTION: A client side PC system 100 where a user executing retrieval exists, a gateway 201 for cooperation to an outer part, a communication network 301, the system 400 of a server side (center side such as information provider) and multiple web sites 500-r on a web. On the server side (center) 400, the respective sites are always circulated and the contents are semantically analyzed for respective information files. Knowledge data where scene information that the information file shows is added as an attribute is accumulated. Even if a retriever does not know the concrete address of information, an objective content is inputted with such constitution. Thus, the address of the information file fitted to a target can instantaneously be grasped.
