PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of trouble such as an air hammer in a downstream-side piping by inhibiting the rolling-in of air at the time of the state of an overflow. ;SOLUTION: In the intake structure of the diversion pipes, a pair of intakes 14 with overflow weirs 14a are formed by notching opposed places in the radial direction of the top sections of the diversion pipes 12 arranged in the vertical direction in a water tank. Plate members 28, 28 are stretched and fixed extending between edge sections opposed at the internal space of the diversion pipe 12 at each both edge section of these intakes 14, and the lower end sections 28a, 28a of these plate members 28, 28 are extended up to sections lower than the overflow weirs 14a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
