PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a credit card certification system capable of executing certification processing on an on-line or an off-line (outside the service area of a radio communication network) by using a mobile credit card certification terminal to be used by loading it on a taxicab or the like. ;SOLUTION: The mobile credit card certification terminal 1 is connected to a central data processing center 4 through a packet communication system public radio communication network (a radio station 2 and a packet communication switching center 3) and a host computer in each credit card company 6 is allowed to access the center 4 on the on-line through a card business integrated network system 5. The terminal 1 is provided with a function for receiving invalid card information from the center 4 through the public radio communication network, storing the received information and deciding whether a credit card required to be certified is an invalid card or not based on the stored invalid card information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
