PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely close a gap between the lower end of a top-hinged swinging door type sliding door and a floor by means of an air-tight member moving up and down in accordance with opening and closing operation of a sliding door. ;SOLUTION: An air-tight sliding device is equipped with an air-tight mechanism 10 for surely closing a gap 9 in the lower part of a sliding door in accordance with opening and closing operation of a top-hinged swinging door type sliding door. The air-tight mechanism 10 is equipped with an approximately parallelogram-shaped link mechanism 20 connecting parts on both end sides of upper link 12 and lower link 13 to each other with both right and left arms 17 and 19. The upper link 12 is fixed to the lower end part of the sliding door. The length L3 between both right and left joint sections of the lower link 13 is so formed that it is slightly longer than the length L4 between both right and left joint sections of the upper link 12. The length L1 between up and down joint sections of the arm 17 positioned at the door front side is so formed that it is slightly longer than the length L2 between up and down joint sections of the arm 19 positioned at the door rear side. Joint between the lower joint section of the arm 17 positioned at the door front side and lower link joint section is a sliding contraposition in the longitudinal direction of the arm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
