PURPOSE: To enhance sensitivity and sharpness and to improve uneven processing characteristics by incorporating a dispersion of the fine solid particles of a specified compound in a hydrophilic colloidal layer and a specified compound in a silver halide emulsion layer. ;CONSTITUTION: At least one of the hydrophilic colloidal layers contains at least one kind of a dispersion of the fine solid particles of at least one of the compounds represented by formulae I-V, and at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers contains at least one of 1-phenyl-5-mercaptotetrazole derivatives. In formulae I and II, A is the fundamental nucleus of 2-pyrazolin-5-on acid: B is 4-amino-aryl; each of L₁-L₃ is methine; (m) is 0 or 1: each of R₁ and R₂ is a substituent or carboxy or the like; each of R₃ and R₄ is phenyl having COOH combined through a bonding group, or H or the like; and (n) is 0 or 1 or 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
