PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage medium auto-changer controller, a storage medium auto-changer device, and a storage medium readable with a computer, whereon a program is stored, which are capable of preventing the life of products from shortening while preventing the dirt generated on the storage medium such as an optical disk or magneto-optical disk. ;SOLUTION: This device 1 for controlling the storage medium auto-changer device 2 is constituted so that an optional storage medium among the storage media 12a-12d of at least one being stored in the auto-changer 9 is loaded into a drive 11 to keep the accessible state of this optional storage medium.
