PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evade occurrence of a similar deadlock error in reprocessing of a batch processing which is abnormally finished due to the deadlock error. ;SOLUTION: In a task managing system used in a computer system in which a multi-task processing including a slave task to execute the batch processing and a master task to manage the slave task is achieved, the master task is provided with a slave task finishing state acquisition means 10 to acquire information regarding the finishing state of the slave task whose processing is finished and a slave task starting means 30 to refer to the information regarding the finishing state of the slave task acquired by the slave task finishing state acquisition means 10 when the batch processing is started and to start the slave task in which the deadlock error is occurred in earlier timing than other slave tasks when the batch processing is abnormally finished due to the dead lock error.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
