PURPOSE:To obtain a device for fixing CO2 by using a photosynthetic organism, especially one capable of omitting sterilization of a culture tank as much as possible. CONSTITUTION:An incubator 1 is charged with an unsterilized culture medium 2 for Chlorella and the unsterilized outer air 4 is continuously injected to the culture medium 2 for Chlorella by a small-sized air pump 3 to supply CO2. The culture medium 2 for Chlorella is provided with a mixture of Anabaena (blue-green alga) 5 and Chlorella 6 having higher photosynthetic ability than Anabaena. Anabaena has a higher growth rate than Chlorella.
