PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plotting device which can realize three-dimensional graphics at a high speed without mounting any expensive hardware on the device. ;SOLUTION: A three-dimensional graphic plotting device is provided with a negative image processing section 22 which discriminates whether or not a part appears on a screen based on three-dimensional data, a color tone calculating section 23 for prescribed picture element which calculates the color tones of picture elements arranged at prescribed intervals in the part which is discriminated to appear on the screen by means of the processing section 22, and a color tone interpolation processing section 24 which interpolates picture elements which are not calculated for color tones based on the color tones of the picture elements arranged at prescribed intervals calculated by means of the calculating section 23. The plotting device is also provided with a plotting section 25 which plots a picture on the screen based on the calculated results obtained by means of the calculating section 23 and the interpolated results obtained by means of the processing section 24.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
