PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a facility or an article from the past during a repairing work and to repair by a simple work by arranging an environment for the repairing work of the facility or the article near the facility or the article from the past.;SOLUTION: First, an environment suitable for a repairing work of Buddhist altar fittings near a place for using or storing the fittings from the past is arranged (step S1). Then, the fittings are cleaned to remove its dirt of its surface (step S2). Thereafter, water is wiped off by a towel, a dustcloth or the like and dried (step S3). A lacquered part except a gold foil is polished with finest water paper (step S4). Thereafter, a part except a decoration pattern or a decoration plate is coated with a synthetic paint nearest a gloss of the lacquer (step S5). Then, the entirety including the lacquered part of the fittings, the foil part of the decoration pattern and the decoration plate is coated with service gloss restoring resin wax (gloss restoring agent) with a brush step (S6).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
