PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject novel human protein that has a specific amino acid sequence, includes the drebrin-like sequence and SH3 domain and is useful as a probe for gene diagnosis and as a gene source for gene therapy and for diagnosis and treatment of a variety of diseases. ;SOLUTION: This is a novel human protein that has an amino acid sequence represented by the formula and includes drebrin-like sequence and a SH3 domain. This protein and its antibody are useful for diagnosis and treatment of a variety of diseases and the gene is useful as a probe for diagnosis of gene and as gene source for the gene therapy. Since this human protein is expressed in any tissue, it can be prepared by screening human cDNA library prepared from human cells with the oligonucleotide probe synthesized on the basis of its partial base sequence, preparing a recombinant vector by incorporating the screened gene into the vector, transforming the host cells with the recombinant vector and culturing this transformant.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
