PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction in load capacity of a storage part of a frame interline transmitting type CCD image pickup device.;SOLUTION: The top of a charge transfer part and a collecting part of a frame interline transmitting type CCD image pickup device are respectively covered with lightproof metal films S1 and S2. An optical transmitting film LT is provided on the top of the lightproof metal film S1 on the charge transferring part of the image pickup part or under the lightproof metal film S2 on the collecting part. A contact hole coupled to the lightproof metal films S1 and S2 are provided on the opposite side of the lightproof metal films S1 and S2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
